Antares Avatar (WT 7)

Strange things happen when you monitor a supernove using quantum devices you don't understand.
Embellish This – start May 15, 2006 This story is set in outerspace and the protagonists travel to Antares (A double or binary star - red giant and white dwarf). It is a metal transformation story, not much more. I make fun of bad lecturers in college symposia and I have some fun with the military crew of the spaceship that they are flying. There is lots of quantum mechanical equipment and technical stuff. After all, these guys are geeks. I postulate that supernovas are really the birth pangs of energy creatures. The story is about the characters who discover this and get caught in the supernova's blast.
